EFY and Being Sick

This summer I have the wonderful opportunity to be counselor for Especially For Youth. On late notice I was asked to work a session down in Provo this last week. It turned out to be an unexpected blessing in many ways. First of all it was a wonderful kick start to my summer of EFY. It lifted my spirit and strengthened my testimony of relying on the spirit. I had great co-counselors and wonderful participants. The second unexpected blessing was that it has ended up replacing this week. You see, I was supposed to be working this week in Rexburg but I got sick and was sent home from EFY on Tuesday. Because I worked in Provo last week I won't be working any less weeks than I had originally planned.
I was really sad that I couldn't work this week but at the same time I am kind of excited. Now that I got sent home I can go camping with Kreed's family this weekend. Kreed even said, "I'm sorry but I'm glad you got sick cause now you can go camping". He is silly!
Wednesday was the first day that I started to feel less weak and shaky. I felt good enough that I thought I would try going swing dancing. I figured I could just sit and watch at least. I could dance about every other fast song and I was pretty ok for the slow songs but I still had to sit out and rest for a lot of the night. Kreed was very sweet and didn't make me dance too many songs. I am feeling a lot better today but I am still coughing and get a little light headed every once in a while but I should be all ready for another week of EFY by this weekend.

This is me still sick on the couch even after two whole days of sleeping.
