Baby sleeping bag and cake

We are planning to go camping with some friends next month. Three of us have babies so we decided to make some sleeping bags for them. This is the one I made for Kaybri. It has two layers (individually tied) that can be separated if needed. I didn't take a picture of it but the grey blanket is braided so it fits better inside the other one.

Oh, and this is the cake I made for Kreed's birthday at the beginning of the month. My mom used to do this for us when we were little. It was one of the best parts about having a birthday.

9 Months old

A few of Kaybri's favorite things: Going to the pool, bath time, her new pool floaty, walking all over the house while holding our hands, rolling all over the house, screaming/ squealing as loud as possible, and, as always, jumping! She has one bottom tooth with the other one following close behind and is almost crawling. Kaybri can hold her bottle by herself (only if she wants to) and loves to chew and suck on graham crackers.

I finally finished Kaybri's name for her bedroom wall.

We are so blessed to have this sweet little girl in our family. I can't believe I get to wake up to this smiling face every morning. She has such a fun personality. She loves to be silly and show off for anyone who will pay attention.

Silly and Mobile

Kaybri's new favorite spot is under the coffee table. Everytime I turn around she is back under the table. This is Kaybri in her very first blanket fort.

The other day I found Kaybri trying to reach the door knobs on the TV stand. It wasn't until I tried to pick her up that I realized her leg was stuck. Silly girl! I had to lift up the TV stand in order to get her leg out.

Fishing for a baby

I turned my back for a second and found her all twisted up in her blanket. This girl loves to roll!

Kaybri has recently started to make a fish face and kissing noises. This isn't a great picture but it's the best I could get.

Easter

We had a wonderful Easter Sunday. At the very last minute I decided to put together a basket for our little family. Luckily I was able to scavenge this cute basket and some yummy treats from the nearly empty shelves at Walmart. Kreed and I got some candy and Kaybri got a new book with furry animals in it. She was just so cute in her spring dress I just had to snap some pictures. Kaybri's favorite part was pulling the grass out of the Easter basket.

Apparently everything in the basket was edible.
